Tamar grew up in Ma’aleh Adumim, Israel, were she was an active participant in the community working with B’nei Akiva and as a Madricha at local seminaries.  After marrying her husband Ari, she moved to Teaneck, NJ where she was a teacher for several years at Yeshivat He’Atid, teaching “Ivrit B’Ivrit” and ran the “Bnot Sherut program. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio in the summer of 2019, where she continues being an active member of the community, volunteering as the Program Director of the Youth Groups at Young Israel of Greater Cleveland as well as working in other programs around the community.
